This time, our colleague J\u00f8rn Christensen was invited to the University of Southern Denmark in Odense, where he gave a presentation on how IFS uses AI to optimise companies' processes. J\u00f8rn's presentation focused on MSO - Manufacturing Scheduling Optimisation, which is a concrete example of how AI can be used in optimisation - here for production planning.<\/p>\n
The invitation came from Mads Bruun Larsen, Head of Education and Associate Professor at SDU Engineering Operations Management. Among other things, he teaches on the course Digitalisation in Operations Management.<\/em><\/p>\n J\u00f8rn is a member of the Faculty of Technology's employer panel, which helps ensure that the programme content reflects real-life needs and equips students with practical skills.<\/p>\n The presentation gave the students insight into who Curit is as a company, what IFS can do as an ERP platform, and how we at Curit implement the technology to strengthen our customers' decision-making power and thus optimise the business.<\/p>\n The students were curious, engaged and asked incisive questions - exactly the kind of dialogue that makes it valuable to bridge the gap between experience and education.<\/p>\n All this with one purpose: to connect theory with reality and give students a clear picture of how technologies like AI create real value in practice.<\/p>\n Thanks for the invitation, Mads - we'd love to come again!<\/p>\n
