The successful upgrade took place less than 12 months after they first went live on IFS Applications in January 2021. The main reason why the upgrade went completely as planned is that there are very few adjustments to IFS Core functionality at AffaldVarme Aarhus, which minimises the upgrade work significantly.<\/p>\n

The upgrade was first performed on a test environment, after which AffaldVarme Aarhus carried out internal quality tests. The test process was carried out in peace and quiet over a few weeks, and the actual upgrade of the production environment was then carried out with minimal impact on operations.<\/p>\n
