Curit an ERP consultancy specialising in the ERP system IFS

Curit was founded in 2003 by Aase Appel Steffensen and Carsten Kaaber based on their experience from IFS Denmark. Since then, the company has grown steadily and has built a strong position as an IFS partner. The timeline shows some of the key milestones in Curit's development

Curit is founded

Until 2003, Aase Appel Steffensen and Carsten Kaaber were colleagues at IFS’ Jutland office in Vejle. When IFS decided to close the Jutland branch, the two decided to found Curit instead. From the start, they hired a few more of their old IFS colleagues, of which Henrik Villadsen is still part of the team.

Among the first IFS partners

Curit was one of the very first in the world to enter into a partnership agreement with IFS. Until then, IFS had maintained a strategy of being a closed, proprietary system.

Curit reaches 16 customers

Curit now had a customer base of 16 customers and 10 employees.

First Gazelle award - proof of success and momentum

Curit receives Børsen Gazelle Award for strong growth and business development.

New partner at Curit

The partner group expands with Hans Peter Bøss as Chief Information Officer and Curit receives another Børsen Gazelle Award.

New partner and international recognition

Peter Eskelund Bering becomes partner and expands management. Curit becomes a finalist in IFS Channel Partner of the Year for the first time.

Recognised as a top ERP supplier in Denmark

Curit is crowned as Denmark's best ERP supplier in the Computerworld Top100 and receives a third Børsen Gazelle Award.

Curit celebrates strong growth and regional success

Curit receives another one Børsen Gazelle Award and is crowned as Success Company of the Year in the Region of Southern Denmark.

Strong growth and recognition continues

Curit maintains top spot in Computerworld Top100 and receives another award Børsen Gazelle Award.

Stability during Covid-19

The global Covid pandemic put an end to the steep growth curve without ever posing a threat. At this point, the customer base has grown to 35 Danish customers.

New partners are added

The group of owners is expanded with three existing employees: Andy Stobberup, Melina Fonnesbæk and Signe Henneberg. This lays the foundation for the future management and ownership group.

Two decades of growth, expertise and market leadership

Curit celebrates 20 year anniversary as ERP specialist and market leader in Denmark. Curit is again recognised as Success Company of the Year in the Region of Southern Denmark.

Room for future growth

The lease on Skomagervej will be extended to the entire building, bringing the office to 750 square metres, which will be furnished and refurbished to accommodate next year's expansions.

Expanding the circle of owners

Julie Garcia Troelsen is added as partner and contributes to Curit's continued development.

PwC recognises Curit's leadership

PwC nominates Curit's management for ’Owner Manager of the Year’. The client base now includes 48 Danish companies.
