Key Takeaways from IFS SaKo 2024

Last week, Anne Louring and Bjarke Paulin Beske from our sales team travelled to IFS Global Sales Kickoff (SaKo) 2024. This annual event brings together partners and IFS employees, and this year's main focus was on IFS Cloud and its importance in ERP solutions.

The event theme, “Olympics: Best Environment to Compete In”, laid the foundation for a competitive event. This created an atmosphere that emphasised the importance of healthy competition and a motivating performance environment. The conference included a variety of activities and inspiring presentations.

After an enriching experience, we at Curit look forward to continuing to provide valuable solutions to our existing and future customers throughout 2024!

Key Takeaways

Partnerships

Partnerships were highlighted as the cornerstone of success, with local companies forming a significant part of IFS. As an IFS partner, Curit can help the customer prepare for the project, ensure the solution meets expectations, guarantee business value and enable future growth.

Innovation with Artificial Intelligence (AI)

A focus on artificial intelligence (AI) was highlighted as a key strategy. IFS has been investing in AI for several years and has clear goals for 2025. The strategy also involves continued investment in partnerships and a concentration on industrial AI and AI revolutionisation.

Reuse of materials using Remanufacturing

The main focus of IFS is sustainability, and within this area, one of the initiatives is remanufacturing, which focuses on the reuse of materials. This initiative aims not only to reduce the environmental impact, but also to create a more sustainable system. By using remanufacturing as an order type, companies can reduce their environmental footprint.

AI for optimisation and planning

IFS is committed to sustainability by incorporating artificial intelligence (AI) across different aspects of the solution. This includes both the optimisation and scheduling of resources, but also the integration of AI into various functions such as service agent scheduling, route optimisation and general process optimisation within the IFS Cloud. By implementing AI in these areas, organisations can respond more efficiently, which can reduce disruption during outages, but also mitigate potential negative environmental impacts.
