AI, new business opportunities and the strength of the FLEXiCODE Group
From data to action: AI set the agenda at IFS Unleashed
Melina, Jørn and Aase are back in Jutland following this year’s IFS Unleashed in Orlando, where customers, partners and IFS came together to focus on new technologies, including AI and the application of this technology in companies’ business processes.
As always, the conference featured technical presentations, demonstrations and discussions on new opportunities within IFS. AI, in particular, was a recurring theme on the programme, highlighting how the technology can be used to support and optimise companies’ business processes.
For us at Curit, the conference was an opportunity to gain an insight into IFS’s development and exchange views with customers and partners, but also to represent the Flexicode Group as a unified European IFS partner with a strong position within the wider IFS ecosystem.
AI: From technological possibilities to business value
AI was a recurring theme at this year’s IFS Unleashed. IFS Intelligence and solutions such as Loops and Nexus Black Resolve featured prominently at the conference, where demonstrations showcased concrete examples of how AI can be applied in companies’ day-to-day operations.
A key focus was on digital agents that not only provide answers, but can also guide the user through a process and carry out specific actions. This opens up opportunities in areas such as service, supply chain, planning and project management, where staff often spend time finding information, following up on tasks and coordinating activities across the organisation.
At the same time, it became clear that the value of AI does not depend solely on the technology. If AI is to translate a company’s data into recommendations and actions, it is essential that the data is reliable and of a sufficiently high quality.
For businesses, the next step is therefore to identify where AI can create real value within their organisation, and how the technology can best support their existing processes. This also places demands on consultancy services: it is not just about knowing the capabilities of the systems, but about understanding clients’ needs and identifying the applications that make sense in practice.
New perspectives
The programme featured presentations from prominent figures with a range of professional and managerial perspectives. Among the speakers were Tom Brady, seven-time Super Bowl champion, Checo Pérez, Formula 1 driver, and, as always, Mark Moffat, CEO of IFS.
Whilst Mark Moffat outlined IFS’s strategic direction, Tom Brady and Checo Pérez shared their insights on what it takes to build high-performing organisations. Although their experiences stem from the world of sport, the presentations focused on leadership, performance and the ability to deliver results. These are all themes that are also relevant to businesses, both for the clients we work for and for us here at Flexicode Group.
Across the various perspectives, there was inspiration to be found on how organisations develop, translate ambitions into action and deliver results in practice.
One group with shared strengths
IFS Unleashed also provided an opportunity to present the Flexicode Group to customers, IFS and other partners as a unified group.
We were given the opportunity to showcase the expertise and experience we have built up across the group’s companies, and we encountered considerable interest in the structure of the Flexicode Group and in how we have brought together specialist expertise across markets.
This has confirmed that, as a single group, we are well-positioned to share experiences, develop our collective pool of expertise and meet our customers’ needs, both locally and internationally. This gives us a solid foundation from which to help our customers make the most of the opportunities offered by IFS and keep pace with technological developments.
Thanks for this time, Orlando
Unleashed therefore offered new perspectives in many respects. Aase, Jørn and Melina have returned home with professional inspiration and a desire to delve even deeper into IFS’s AI tools, as well as having enjoyed some great experiences with our new colleagues from the DACH region and Finland.
Thanks for this time, Orlando – see you in 2028 🌟
