Curit is once again supporting Knæk Cancer with a donation this year.
“At Curit, we have had a long-standing tradition for many years now of channelling our Christmas gift budget for customers into supporting a charitable cause instead. Back then – just 10–15 years ago – it was the norm for suppliers to buy vases, decanters, board games and all sorts of other more or less imaginative Christmas gifts and present them to the buyers at our clients” companies. We ourselves received quite a few of these items, and, to be honest, much of it just sat gathering dust in the storeroom until it was given away at the car boot sale. At the same time, there was, of course, plenty of hardship and misery all over the world, where, in our opinion, the same budget could have been put to far better use. So that became our small contribution to curbing the decadence a little, and we’ve stuck to it ever since. In the meantime, the custom of exchanging Christmas presents between suppliers and customers has quietly almost disappeared in the rest of the country too, but we’re sticking to our version of a Christmas present. This year, the money is going to Knæk Cancer 2020, so we can all watch the show, keep an eye on the donations and, for a brief moment, take pleasure in the fact that we’ve played our part in supporting this important cause,” says Aase Appel Steffensen, Managing Director at Curit ApS.
