KICK-OFF
It was with great excitement and after a long wait that Curit and Ib Andresen Industri could finally embark on the collaboration to implement IFS Applications and thereby transform the Danish industrial group's ERP landscape. On Thursday 2 September 2021, project participants and stakeholders from both companies gathered for the kick-off.
”It says a lot about a customer's readiness when you see videos around the organisation of the CEO talking about the importance of what they are facing” says project manager from Curit, Peter Bering.
The day started with a comprehensive factory tour that gave the Curit consultants an insight into the many different business areas to be handled. IFS Applications will encompass the entire business from slitting and cutting of the large steel coils in the steel service centres to machining in the form of laser cutting, bending and profile rolling to efficient customer care. Ib Andresen Industri approaches the project with a desire to become ’One Company’, which their new IFS Applications solution must reflect.
For Curit and Ib Andresen Industri, the autumn is now all about analysis, and before Christmas, Curit will demonstrate in a prototype presentation how the many wishes and requirements that Ib Andresen Industri has can be realised in IFS Applications.
