Highlights from Q2
Another quarter has passed and we are officially halfway through 2025. Spring has brought exciting tasks and new experiences, and summer is already well underway. It's been a busy and eventful quarter and we're looking forward to maintaining the momentum through the summer and into the autumn.
K-day at Aarhus University
In April, our consultants, Signe Henneberg and Bjarke Paulin Beske, participated in this year's K-day at Aarhus University - a day where companies present themselves as potential workplaces to students before they enter the business world. It was a great opportunity to meet future colleagues and give them an insight into everyday life at Aarhus University.
An exciting day with the opportunity to talk to the students about their wishes for working life and at the same time explain what Curit does and how we create value for our customers.
WISMO is live with IFS Cloud
For WISMO, 2025 has been the year they made the leap to IFS Cloud, and in May the full implementation went live.
WISMO - part of the WISMO Group - is responsible for importing several of the world's leading car brands and distributes spare parts and accessories to the Danish and Swedish markets via logistics centres in Glostrup and Stockholm.
The project team at WISMO has shown great commitment, which has contributed to an efficient implementation process and strengthened both the collaboration and the solution.
This commitment has also ensured a smooth transition for the users, who were well prepared and ready to work in IFS on the go-live day. We appreciate the strong co-operation and look forward to the future.
IFS Connect Nordics
In May, Carsten Kaaber and Melina Fonnesbæk attended IFS Connect Nordics in Stockholm. The conference is an annual event where IFS brings together partners, customers and colleagues from all over the Nordic region. The days offered plenty of insights, new knowledge, inspiration and networking opportunities. This year, Connect focused on Industrial AI under the heading Industrial AI: Your Catalyst for High Performance, The focus was on how companies can integrate AI into everyday industrial life and create tangible value.
ERP Trends
Computerworld gathered industry professionals and ERP specialists again this year for ERP Trends, a conference dedicated to the future of business systems and digital transformation. Curit was there, where our consultants Peter Bering, Bjarke Paulin Beske and Jørn Christensen shared knowledge about how IFS can effectively support modern manufacturing companies.
Jørn and Peter were also on stage with a presentation about the MSO, IFS’ AI-powered fine planning tool, showing how it creates better flow, flexibility and efficiency in complex production environments.
Curit in Munich
To have plenty of time to dive into IFS Cloud 25R1 in particular and IFS Cloud in general, Curit travelled to Munich in early May. The side benefit was a stronger community by swapping his desk for Leberkäse, BMWs and a German Biergarten.
The trip included everything from professional presentations to a food walk in the streets of Munich, a crazy variety show and an exciting visit to the BMW Museum. It was all spiced up with spontaneous celebrations of both the 150th anniversary of the Red Cross and Bayern Munich's Bundesliga victory. All in all, it was an eventful weekend where relationships were strengthened, both professionally and personally.
Welcome to new faces
In the second quarter, we welcomed several new colleagues to the team. Nichlas Rønberg, who started as a developer, has already been curious about IFS. He is well underway in the development team, building and customising IFS solutions for our customers' businesses.
In marketing, we have been joined by Marie Henriksen, who has started as a student assistant. She has just completed her bachelor's degree and after the summer holidays she will begin her master's degree in IT and web communication.
We also have the pleasure of continuing our collaboration with two of our former student employees in the finance area. Both Jeppe Espensen and Mike Sørensen have just completed their master's degrees and will take up full-time roles as consultants on 1 July.
At Curit, we are proud to attract talented and curious profiles - and happy that we can help develop them further in their role as consultants.
The crowning glory
During the second quarter, Curit completed an upgrade of IFS Applications to the latest version, IFS Cloud 25R1. Kristoffer Vester, who has been project manager, tells us the following about the project:
I'm not saying there haven't been any bumps in the road, but I can safely say that none of these bumps have been of a magnitude that our skilled engineers and developers haven't been able to solve in no time at all.
With this upgrade, Curit is fully updated and ready to stay evergreen.
