As 2024 draws to a close, it's time for the traditional annual Christmas greeting from Curit. The entire team at Curit wishes all our customers, partners and everyone who follows us a Merry Christmas and a happy and prosperous New Year.
The year has been filled with exciting tasks at Curit, and on the customer side this has meant, among other things:
- Two customers have gone live with IFS; in April, Ib Andresen Industri went live on IFS Apps 10 after a long and exhaustive implementation phase, and in June, KEN Storkøkken went live also on IFS Apps 10.
- In January, Novenco Industries rolled out IFS to their subsidiaries in the UK and the Netherlands.
- KEN Hygiene Systems has implemented Planning and Scheduling Optimisation (PSO) and went live with the scheduling system in February.
- In the spring, Kredsløb implemented Incident Management, part of the Health & Safety module, and went live with the functionality in June.
- Kongskilde Industries went live on IFS Apps 10 in November, following an upgrade project from Apps 7.5.
- In early December, Curit go provided live support to Kitron A/S, who went live on IFS Apps 10 after rolling out IFS from their parent company in Norway.
- Last but not least, Curit welcomed two new customers in 2024: Fyns Kran Udstyr and Wismo Group, who are now in full swing with the implementation of IFS Cloud.
2024 has also offered several exciting events that have provided new knowledge about IFS and good networking relationships with both customers and other stakeholders:
- In January, Curit sent Bjarke Beske and Anne Louring to the Sales Conference, SaKo, in London. An event that offered a lot of exciting presentations about sales, new products in IFS and new relationships.
- IFS Connect Nordics made its way to Denmark for the first time, where Tivoli Hotel and Conference opened its doors to IFS customers and partners from all over the Nordic region. Curit had five representatives there, and it was a fantastic day where Curit had the pleasure of talking to many of our customers.
- The big IFS event in 2024 was IFS Unleashed, which takes place every two years. This time in Orlando, Florida. Curit was represented by Peter Bering, Aase Steffensen, Hans Peter Bøss and Signe Henneberg, who came home with a suitcase full of news from IFS and extravagant experiences.
- In November, Computer World Denmark organised ERP Insights in Horsens, Denmark, and Carsten Kaaber and Peter Bering were there. The latter was on stage with a presentation on the use of AI in IFS. An area that has really gained momentum in the last few years.
- The ERFA group has held two meetings in 2024 and Curit has been lucky enough to participate with presentations on Cash Flow Planning, PSO and Power BI. In this connection, a big thank you to the customers who have now taken over to ensure a strong IFS ERFA group in Denmark!
And as always, there are many things happening internally at Curit, and 2024 has by no means been an exception, which is worth mentioning:
- Acquisition of the last part of the lease on Skomagervej 1, so Curit is now housed in the entire building.
- Curit has welcomed nine new employees, both on the developer and consultant side.
- In the spring, Curit had the honour of giving a presentation to students at BTECH AU in Herning about IFS and what Curit as a consultancy can contribute.
- For the first time, Curit participated in this year's DHL relay in Odense, with four running teams and one team that chose to take the walking route.
- In October, Curit celebrated Denmark's Mental Health Day with business psychologist and speaker Helen Eriksen, who gave a presentation on how we remember to ’sing enough in the corridors’. A talk about well-being, unity and team spirit.
- The annual Christmas party was held at Haraldskær, where teamwork skills were tested as each team had to solve tasks to defuse the time bomb before it went off. This was followed by a four-course meal and a music quiz, before the DJ played music for dancing.
- Finally, we would like to share that Curit has once again received the BDO and Spar Nord Success Company of the Year 2024 award. Representatives from both BDO and Spar Nord visited our newly renovated office to present the award to owners and founders Carsten Kaaber and Aase Steffensen. Thank you for the award!
