Key Takeaways from IFS SaKo 2023

The first month of 2023 has now come to an end, and for two of our talented consultants there has been extra work to do. They have been attending IFS SaKo 2023, which this year was held at The O2 Arena, London from 16 to 20 January. 2023 IFS Global Sales Conference is a conference organised by IFS where partners, suppliers and IFS employees meet to network, hear presentations on the latest trends in IFS and discuss the future of ERP together.

This year we were represented by Bjarke Paulin Beske and Anne Louring, both members of the Curit sales team.

The focus of the conference this time was IFS Cloud. The days were packed with activities and exciting presentations, where one of the recurring messages was the importance of doing better for IFS partners so that they can do better for customers in their respective countries. IFS believes that partnership is the way forward so that IFS, despite being a global company, can be represented locally through partners like Curit and thus ensure a presence that would otherwise have been a challenge.

There was also time to look back on the past year. A year in which IFS, together with its partner network, has once again grown and performed very well in the market in both ERP and EAM. At the end of the conference, an award show was held where the Nordics won the award as Market Unit of the Year.

There were plenty of opportunities to network, both in a large forum with participants from all over the world, and also in smaller groups where events were organised based on geographical location. For example, Anne and Bjarke had an evening just with other partners and IFS employees from the Nordic countries. They networked, talked about sales processes and how the different partners are working on moving into the IFS Cloud.

All in all, the trip has been very rewarding, and at Curit we have two consultants back who are more than ready to hit the ground running with our customers and leads in 2023!
