Aurena as a bridge to IFS Cloud
Before the actual upgrade, Mekoprint worked in the Aurena client in IFS Applications 10 for a period of time. Since Aurena is very similar to IFS Cloud's user interface, this phase served as an important transition that familiarised users with the new upgrade. This ultimately contributed to a smooth transition where they immediately felt at home in IFS Cloud.
Focus areas after go live
With the technical upgrade in place, the focus is now on utilising the new features in IFS Cloud. One of the first areas Mekoprint wants to start using is MSO - Manufacturing, scheduling & optimisation. MSO in the Cloud brings together service management, maintenance and operational tasks in one common solution. This gives Mekoprint better opportunities to optimise processes across both production and after-sales service.
Continuous collaboration on process optimisation
The collaboration between Curit and Mekoprint now continues with a focus on process optimisation and reaping the benefits of the new platform. The upgrade has established a solid technical foundation to support Mekoprint's continued digital development and process improvements across the value chain.
