Grafisk Maskinfabrik (GM) has chosen IFS Applications as their future ERP system and Curit as their partner to assist with the implementation project. When selecting a partner, it was important for GM to find a supplier with industry experience and the ability to challenge current processes and implement a solution that can meet both current and future needs.
GM comments: ”Grafisk Maskinfabrik has known for a long time that the company needed a new ERP system, and the company has searched widely among market providers. We were looking for an ERP system that is user-friendly, easy to maintain and implement. After many months of searching, the choice fell on IFS. We also talked to companies we compare ourselves to, and several of them use IFS and had Curit as a partner. We only heard positive things about Curit and have therefore chosen Curit to manage the implementation.”
The project was launched on 8 February 2022, where a kick-off was held followed by the first analysis meeting in the respective groups. In the analysis meetings, the company's current workflows and needs were reviewed to give Curit a deeper understanding of GM's business needs, which will subsequently be matched against IFS Applications and Curit's knowledge of best practice. In these weeks, a prototype solution is being designed so that GM can get a greater insight into how the consultants at Curit think IFS Applications will solve GM's needs in practice. This will be presented at GM on Wednesday 23 March 2022, and will help form the basis for further implementation work.
Project Manager from Curit, Sanne Bach Larsen comments: ”We are proud that GM has chosen Curit as a partner in the major change they are facing. GM has undergone an impressive development in recent years and in choosing IFS as their new ERP system, they have set the course for a solid platform for both their current operations and their future development. We look forward to a close co-operation for a long time to come.”.
Headquartered in Birkerød, Denmark, GM employs approximately 140 people who produce and sell advanced and unique solutions for self-adhesive label converting, finishing and flexible packaging worldwide.
