SG Produktion, which specialises in lighting for the residential and project market, has partnered with Curit to conduct a preliminary analysis of the possibilities of using IFS Applications as their future ERP system. When selecting a partner, it was important for SG Produktion to get a solid supplier with good experience to carry out the work and at the same time find a system that can match the company's current and future needs.
”After many years with a customised ERP system, we needed an ERP system that could match our needs and a supplier that gave us the feeling of being in safe hands. We found that with IFS and Curit - and that's why we're now working with Curit on a preliminary analysis of IFS Applications.” says Thomas Hansen, CFO at SG Produktion.
A pre-analysis is conducted to review the company's needs and match them against IFS Applications and Curit's knowledge of best practice. Specifically, the consultants review the company's needs and then design a prototype solution that will show how IFS Applications will solve the need in practice. Once this is known, the implementation project can be designed and estimated much more accurately, which is beneficial for both the company and Curit.
At Curit, we are pleased with the collaboration and look forward to showing how IFS can support the company's needs: ”SG Produktion has a demanding production planning need where you must be able to adjust production in a very short time to meet customer requirements. Here we see that IFS Applications’ project roots provide the right planning tools to meet this,” says Peter Eskelund Bering, Partner at Curit.
SG Produktion was established in 1959 with headquarters in Odense, where they employ over 100 people in their production and sales department. The company is a subsidiary of the SG Armaturen Group, which is headquartered in Norway and has subsidiaries across Europe.
