Aalborg, 17 January 2024 - GomSpace, a market leader in space technology based in Aalborg, Denmark, has completed a successful upgrade from IFS 9 to IFS 10.

The process began with a general clean-up followed by a test upgrade in the first three weeks of September 2023, where all customisations were lifted to IFS 10. After a thorough testing period, IFS 9 was upgraded to IFS 10 during the last weekend of September.
The upgrade of the operating environment itself went smoothly with a shutdown at 12.00 noon on Friday, and the upgraded IFS 10 environment was ready late that evening. With support from Curit, IFS 10 was configured over the weekend and by Monday morning GomSpace was ready to use the new system. Any minor issues that arose were quickly resolved in collaboration with Curit's consulting team so that operations remained uninterrupted.
“Working with Curit has been a positive experience and we have had the privilege of being able to more or less independently manage the upgrade with the support of their consulting team,” Søren adds.
