Curit is joining the Flexicode Group

Curit is set to become part of the Flexicode Group, which will thereby become one of the largest IFS pure-play partners in Europe

Curit is joining forces with two other major IFS partners in Europe: Flexicode in the DACH region (Germany, Austria and Switzerland) and Aveso in Finland. With 200 IFS specialists, over 150 clients and an annual turnover of approximately DKK 300 million, the group is well on its way to achieving our shared goal of becoming Europe’s largest pure-play IFS consultancy firm.

In early June this year, Flexicode issued a press release announcing that the Finnish company Aveso had become part of the Flexicode Group. With the incorporation of Curit, the group is well on its way to achieving its goal of becoming one of Europe’s leading IFS partners.

Local presence, European cooperation

Lorenz Widerer, CEO of Flexicode Group, explains the rationale behind the transaction as follows: “With Curit, we are bringing on board one of Europe’s most experienced IFS partners – a company that shares our strategic direction and strong focus on partnership. Together, we will become one of the largest pure-play IFS partners in Europe.”

Aase Appel Steffensen, CEO and co-founder of Curit, adds: ”Ever since we were founded, we have supported our customers in developing their IFS solutions through reliable, long-term partnerships. Becoming part of the Flexicode Group creates new opportunities for our staff and customers, whilst maintaining the close relationships and reliability that have always defined Curit.”.

The companies’ areas of expertise complement one another in a wide range of fields. Curit contributes in particular with expertise in IFS consultancy, implementation, support, upgrades, Managed Cloud, integrations, data migration, as well as Business Intelligence and TARGIT. Flexicode Group brings extensive experience in international IFS Cloud transformations, Field Service Management, Enterprise Asset Management, data management and complementary software solutions.

“Our customers need a partner who not only understands the product, but also their business processes. As part of the Flexicode Group, we can combine our experience with a larger European network and thus support businesses on an even broader scale,” adds Carsten Kaaber, co-founder and CSO at Curit.

Cooperation in the Nordic region

The merger is the next step in Flexicode Group’s expansion across Europe, building on its strong platform in the Nordic region. Established customer relationships, strong technical expertise and a local presence will continue to be key elements of the Group’s strategy.

“With Aveso and Curit, the Flexicode Group brings together two strong Nordic IFS partners in the Nordic region. Closer collaboration will enable us to share best practice across national borders and give our customers in the Nordic region and the rest of Europe access to further expertise,” says Sami Heino, CEO of Aveso Oy.
